EMERGENCE AND INTROSPECTION

The Pennsylvania Philharmonic is once again thrilled to bring a one-of-a-kind virtual music education program to students across Pennsylvania.

Our virtual program, Emergence and Introspection, is designed to be done either at home or in the classroom. Each student has independent access and can complete the course at their own speed. Teachers have access to their workflow, essay answers, and quiz results.

This program utilizes music from a variety of style periods and especially from a wide array of nationalities. Including pieces with roots in the US, South America, China, Germany, Estonia, Africa, and even one piece with a special association with Pennsylvania. As the experience of the pandemic has been universal and worldwide, it seemed especially important to provide perspectives from a wide variety of composers, written in a wide variety of styles.
